General information about cookies

When you access Ottica Padula, our system or that of one of our partners may set or read cookies and/or other types of identifiers about the browser and/or device you are using. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the computer of the person who views a site web in order to record certain information about the visit as well as to create a system to recognize the user at later times. Device identifiers, on the other hand, are generated by collecting and processing certain information such as the IP address and/or the user agent (browser version, operating system type and version) or other characteristics of the device, again in order to link certain information back to a specific user. A site WEB can set a cookie on the browser only if the preferences configured for the latter allow it. It is important to know that a browser may only allow a specific site WEB to access cookies set by it and not those set by other sites WEB: there is no risk to your privacy in doing so. Practices related to cookies and other similar technologies Ottica Padula or its partners may use cookies or other types of identifiers for a variety of reasons, including: to provide access to restricted areas of the site and accessible after authentication (in which case the cookies are called "technical" and are used to maintain the browsing session and / or to facilitate subsequent access from the same device). Keep track of user preferences while using the site and/or services incorporated in it or connected to it. Offer advertising and/or content relevant to the interests of visitors (third party cookies only). Develop statistical analysis (analytics) about the use of the site and/or services incorporated in it. Conduct research to improve the content, products and services of Ottica Padula or its partners.

Ottica Padula does not directly use any profiling cookies: the only cookies generated and managed directly by Ottica Padula are the so-called technical cookies (which are used exclusively to properly provide the services offered to the public) and, in an extremely limited way, analytics cookies (which are used to count the number of readings on the various pages of the site and / or for other purposes of a statistical nature). We inform users, however, that through our pages may be generated profiling cookies by third parties (Ref. "Cookies from other companies"). We provide below a list (not exhaustive) of some of the partner companies that may use cookies while browsing on the Ottica Padula network: Google Analytics (informative) Google Adwords (informative) Google+ (informative) Facebook (informative) Twitter (informative) YouTube (informative) If you have any doubts or concerns about the use of cookies you can contact us at our contact details.
